Affected by the epidemic, seafood markets in India and Malay

Last Tuesday, 10 fishmongers tested positive for the new coronavirus at the seafood market in paradip, India, and one person died. The seafood market was closed from May 12 to 19.

According to the kartikeswar fish Traders Association, the seafood market is crowded and temporary closure is the best protection for fishermen and community members.

Paladibu is a port city on the northeast coast of India. There were only 300 new crown positive cases last year, but there are 30-40 increasing cases recently. The paladib seafood market, odisha and the neighboring state of West Bengal, is an important local aquatic products trading market.

In addition, in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, an aquatic product trader was admitted to hospital with symptoms after contacting a new crown patient. Nine stalls in his aquatic product trading market were closed for three days (may 15-17) for comprehensive elimination. The rest of the market stalls are still open, but all more than 100 workers are subject to nucleic acid testing.
